On the day I was born.....
This is a writing activity we did in Civics class on 9/14/06. Students should find historical and governmental events that happened on the day they were born. They didn't have to limit themselves to the year they were born, just the day.

New Slope Calculator
Please go to this website and work on adding positive and negative integers.
http://aaaknow.com/add65_x2.htm
When we finish with this I want you to get your finding slope papers out and using the calculators on your computers change all your fraction answers to decimals.(You do this by dividing the top number by the bottom number). Leave the whole number answers as they are.
After that please go to http://www.1728.com/distance.htm and check all of your answers on your computer.
Remember that this web-site will give you the slope as a decimal.
